The winners of the Republican contest for the best coverage of emergency service activities and the basics of life safety were recognized at the Educational Safety Center of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry for Emergencies. The Minister presented well-deserved awards and valuable gifts to journalists.
A solemn ceremony celebrating the national symbols of our country - the flag, the coat of arms, and the anthem - was held in Minsk's National Flag Square. More than a hundred employees and students from the University of Civil Protection, which is part of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, attended the event.
Minister for Emergency Situations Vadim Sinyavsky, cadets of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, together with the head of the university and the head of the capital's garrison of rescuers took part in a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Victory Monument in Minsk as part of the republican campaign "Belarus Remembers!" dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Vadim Sinyavsky attended the opening ceremony of a new fire station in Grodno on May 3rd, 2024. The new facility is located in the rapidly growing district "Grandichi", in the capital city of Grodno. The deployment of this station in the micro-district will shorten response times to emergencies, increasing the efficiency of rescue operations.
